The SM-100 is a rackmount version of Solton's Project-100. If features six voices and 12 DCOs (Digitally Controlled Oscillators, 2 per voice). In each voice, both DCOs have pulse-width control. The second DCO of each voice has noise and is detunable. The SM-100 also features VCA modulation and stereo chorusing. Parameter access programming is accomplished through three double-digit LEDs.

The SM-100 features 100 memory locations, of which 40 are presets and 60 are user RAM locations with a cassette interface for back-up.
