Elektor

"Elektor Electronics is a magazine for the electronics enthusiast, professional or amateur. Throughout the year, the magazine publishes original construction projects and informative articles on Audio & Hi-fi, Computers & Microprocessors, Electrophonics, Radio, Television and Communications, Science & Technology, Test & Measurement; as well as news from the world of electronics, communications and computers; book reviews; design ideas; application notes; and information on new products." In the late 1970s and early 1980s they published articles on electronic synthesizers kits. These designs were later detailed in book form and published by Elector. These instruments included the Chorosynth (a polyphonic string synthesizer), and the Formant modular synthesizer.

"The magazine (of which there are also Dutch, French, and German issues - identical on a monthly basis - as well as Greek, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish issues published under licence) is distributed through bookshops, newsagents, and electronics retailers in the United Kingdom and most parts of the world."
